Empella Carbonfighter

Weighing in at only 1 kilo this frame is a beauty. The slightly sloping geometry may bring the Time Vector frame to mind. But not the price!!! You can have a complete bike for the price of the Time frame, and you can even defy UCI regulations where weight is concerned at a reasonable price.

I've built one (click here for pic) up with Dura Ace 10 speed, Stronglight carbon Pulsion cranks and titanium ISIS BB, aluminium 3T bars and stem, USE Alien carbon seat post, SLR XP saddle, Time Impact S pedals and Ksyrium SSC SL wheels (clincher version) that weighs in at a whopping 6.7 kilos only !! And still more can be gained where lightness is concerned.

The bike handles well, it's stiff and swift and its geometry allows you to find your position without compromise. There are 5 sizes available and the top tube is quite long so even big guys can find a bike to suit them. The sloping concept also allows compact people to find their ideal position.

Hinault Avantime

Of course we all remember Bernard Hinault, one of cycling's greatest Campionissimos. He has turned 50 in November 2004 and tends to his farm animals and shows up for TDF and a couple of other occasions. But you can also find his name on quality frame sets that we can get for you.

The Hinault Avantime looks like a monocoque frame. Underneath there are aluminium lugs but these're covered in carbon fiber. The frame weighs 1250 grams and is incredibly stiff, not less than 5 sizes are available. From April on a white carbon model will be available.

Of course we can build your bike to your specifications. Serving suggestion (click here for pic): Centaur 10 speed transmission and brakes, Stronglight Volcan cranks and ISIS BB, Deda Magic stem and bars, Hinault carbon seat post, Fizik Aliante saddle, Bernard Hinault pedals (Look system) and Corima tubular carbon aero wheels with Deda Tre Olympico tubulars. This version sells for 3.595,- €, but in the end you decide what we put on your bike.
